In the summertime I live in dresses. They’re easy to throw on so I’m out the door and at a coffee shop to write in no time. I also like to be comfortable when I’m working, but still look put together and dresses are the perfect way to pull that off. As an author one of my favorite things to do is talk to book clubs. For such a long time I was the only person who knew the characters in Waiting at Hayden's. There were so many times during the writing process where I wished I could talk to someone other than my editor about them. With the exception of one seventy-five degree weekend, we've been having an unusually rainy February in Orange County. Although I moved from Oregon to California to escape the rain, I do love any excuse to get cozy!
